La Tania is one of the resorts in the huge Three Valleys ski area and shares it’s lift pass with Courchevel. It’s a family friendly resort that offers you a great value skiing holiday in the Three Valleys. There’s a massive 150km of piste in this area alone that extends to 600km when you upgrade your pass to include the complete ski area.

With an area this large there’s something to suit every type of skier or boarder including a large snowpark in Courchevel 1850.

Skiing in La Tania itself is great for beginners with a huge green slope that comes back into the village from the top of the gondola station and a rolling blue run for when your skiing and boarding is starting to improve.

That’s not to say that the intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders amongst you aren’t catered for. In Courchevel you’ll find lots of wide cruising piste and plenty of challenging black runs. There’s also the option to take a full three Valleys pass where the world is your oyster with every type of piste and off piste available to you.

A fairly new resort, it was built in the early 90’s for the Albertville Winter Olympics to accommodate athletes and journalists during the games. With a traffic free resort centre, it has a lovely small village feel despite it being a part of one of the largest ski areas in the world.

Apartments are wrapped around the bottom of the piste and the gondola station so getting to the lift and village centre takes just minutes. There are plenty of restaurants to try somewhere new each night if you wish as well as take away options for a night in. Live bands are popular in the bars and play most nights.

Ski school is available in La Tania with ESF and you can also hire a guide if you want to explore the off piste that this area has to offer.
