Some questions to consider when you’re planning your next winter holiday:
- Why should you be restricted to the pistes in one resort?
- What happens if the snow in your resort is poor?
- Where do you go if lifts and runs are closed because of bad weather?
- Why pay for a lift pass that covers areas that you may not ski on particularly when learning?
- Where can you go with a mixed ability group that meets everyone’s requirements?
All can be difficult to answer when considering traditional skiing/boarding holidays. But at SnowYourWay, we do things a little differently.
Valfréjus and La Norma, our bases, have the things we all look for when choosing a resort:
- Doorstep skiing and boarding at a high altitude
- A good variety of well groomed pistes with an exceptionally low priced lift pass
- Well equipped, comfortable accommodation
- Friendly, varied après ski
- Competitive in-resort prices
Very important, yes, but our resorts are unique, not just because of what they offer, but because of where they are ….
Valfréjus and La Norma are the base of our operations as they sit on the edge of some of France and Italy’s major resorts, giving very quick and easy access to over 16 resorts and more than 2000kms of piste!
Our unique offering includes daily, scheduled minibus services to and from our neighbouring resorts, most within 20 minutes. Our lift pass is upgradeable on a day to day basis allowing our guests to ski as much or as little as they wish, when they wish. You simply aren’t restricted to one location, try a different resort each day if you wish, learn to ski or board locally and visit the Three Valleys or the Milky Way just once before you go home – the choice is yours.
How does it work?
Once in resort, your lift pass (only £115 for 6 days) is valid for
the entire local ski area. All lessons are taken in resort, so if your
group includes beginners this is all they need buy. Each week day however,
we run regular buses to the neighbouring resorts which you are free to
use as many times as you wish. Our destination resorts change each day
to reflect the best snow conditions and
weather, so even if the local conditions are poor (unlikely!) there’s
always good skiing/boarding to be had. Your local electronic lift pass
is recognised in all the listed Maurienne resorts, for a reasonable
upgrade cost for the day, so you can be assured that you pay for only
what you ski or board.
